Admiral Gregory G. Johnson of US Navy Visits Ghana

Accra, May 19, GNA – Admiral Gregory G. Johnson, Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Commander-in-Chief, Allied Forces, Southern Europe arrived in Ghana on Wednesday for a two-day visit. A statement from the Public Affairs Section of the US Embassy said, during the visit Admiral Johnson would meet his Ghanaian counterparts in the Military and the Ministry of Defence.

It said: “These meetings are another example of ongoing U.S.-Ghanaian military cooperation.”
