Adakope Urges Government To Assist School

Adakope (Eastern Region) 16 Nov. The people of Adakope near Begoro in the Fante Akwa District have appealed to the government to assist the community to improve education in the area. In this regard the Ghana Education Service should take over the primary school in the town and provide it with qualified teachers. A spokesman for the town told newsmen that the people have constructed a three classroomed block with local materials at a cost of more than 200,000 cedis. He said the community has also employed a teacher to control 100 pupils in the three classes.
