Accused remanded for defiling a 12-year-old girl

Tema, Jan 17, GNA – The Tema Circuit court on Monday reminded a 23-year-old machine operator of a poly tank company for allegedly defiling a 12-year-old-girl.

Foster Aforve Etseo pleaded not guilty and was remanded to appear in court on February 15.

Chief Inspector Matilda Tetteh, the prosecutor, told the court that the victim resides with the mother in the same vicinity with the accused person.

He said the victim fell sick and was sent to the Tema General Hospital where it was detected she had been defiled and mentioned the accused person’s name.
