Accra High Court grants injunction to Osu Mantse

Accra, May 5, GNA – An Accra High Court has restrained Nii Ako Nortie IV, Osu Mankralo, from inaugurating the head office and Law Department of the Osu Traditional Council, on Saturday. The building is located at 39 Independence Avenue.

The order followed an interlocutory injunction filed by Nii Nortey Owuo III, Osu Mantse against Nii Nortei IV, the Lands Commission (National) and the Greater Accra Regional Lands Commission. The court further restrained Nii Mortei’s agents, assigns, workmen servants, and privies from taking steps or attempting to inaugurate the office.

The court, presided over Mr Justice James B. Benson, said the order shall last for 10 days and could be renewed by the plaintiff.
