Academic work begins in second cycle institutions at Ho

Ho, June 19, GNA – Academic work has begun in second cycle institutions within Ho Municipality following resumption of work by striking workers of the Teachers and Educational Workers Union (TEWU). Students, teachers and other educational workers reported to work last Thursday.

When Ghana News Agency (GNA) visited Mawuli School, the kitchen staff was busy while other educational workers were going about their normal duties.

Students were also seen restoring academic environment to the school.

Mr David Afudego, Headmaster of the School told GNA that everything had returned to normal and teaching and learning had begun in earnest. Mrs Philomena Afeti, Headmistress of OLA Senior Secondary School said teachers and other educational workers had fully returned and were working.

Students of Awudome Senior Secondary School had also returned to school for serious academic work for the rest of the term.
