Aboso Chief appeals to Ministry of Health to rehabilitate local health

centre

Aboso (W/R) Aug. 25,GNA – Nana Kofi Kyei Baffoe I, Chief of Aboso, in the Western Region, has expressed concern about the deteriorating condition at the community health centre. He said the Aboso Health Centre, was the only health facility for the people of the town and nearby communities and called on the Ministry of Health and the Wassa West District Assembly to take urgent measures to carry out rehabilitation works.

Nana Baffoe, who was speaking to the Ghana News Agency, at Aboso said lack of male and female wards was undermining quality care to patients. He said the medical staff also face accommodation problems. Nana Baffoe called on public- spirited individuals and organisations to come to the aid of the Centre He charged the people to patronise the National Health Insurance Scheme, to enable them have easy access to quality health care.
