Re-construction of Mawuli Estate roads begins

Ho, Feb. 13, GNA- Work has begun on the re-construction of the 4.1 kilometre Mawuli Estate roads in Ho. The GH¢10,000 contract being handled by Messrs Nagestine Construction Limited from Koforidua and would take twelve months to complete. Mr Carlos Mensah, Ho Municipal Maintenance Engineer of Urban Roads disclosed this to the media on Tuesday. He said the scope of work included drainage, bitumen surfacing and “off-work” surfacing. Mr Mensah said the decision to re-construct the Ho Township roads was to upgrade it to befit a municipal status and appealed to the communities to co-operate with the contractors working on the roads for a speedy work.
