Twifo Praso (C/R), Feb. 5, GNA- The executives of the Twifo Atti-Morkwa constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Monday congratulated Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on his election as the presidential candidate of the party in the 2008 general elections. A press release issued and signed by the constituency chairman, Mr Agyeman Poku alias “Big Boss” said Nana Akufo-Addo’s victory was ordained by God.
He urged party members to give the Presidential candidate the needed support to enable him win the December elections. Mr Poku commended the defeated presidential aspirants for coming together to support Nana Akufo-Addo in his bid to win the presidential race and urged them to educate their supporters not to engage in politics of insults.
He said considering the hard work of the government and the popularity of the NPP, the party was sure to win the elections “hands down”.
