NDC delegation leaves for Canada

Accra, Nov. 16, GNA – A four-man delegation of National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Thursday left Accra for Canada to inaugurate a branch of the party.

Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, NDC National Organiser and leader of the delegation, told the GNA that the Canada branch of the NDC had been detached from the North American branch, hence the need to inaugurate it.

He said in Canada the delegation would brief its members on the political events at home and the strategy the party was adopting to win the 2008 election.

Other members of the delegation are Mr Kofi Attoh, Director of International Relations of the party, Dr Mustapha Ahmed, MP for Ayawo East and Mr Sampson Ahin, MP for Juabeso. The delegation will be away for a week. 16 Nov 07
