Four remanded in prison custody on alleged murder

Breman Asikuma(CR), June 13, GNA – A Breman Asikuma District Magistrate’s court has remanded four people in prison custody for their alleged involvement in the murder of a five-year-old girl, Felicia Abaka at Breman Towoboase.

The pleas of Isaac Awuku 49, Kojo Asare 28, Faustina Acquah 35, and Esi Nkrumah 30, niece of the deceased were not taken and would re-appear on July 12.

Police Chief Inspector Gershon Awuyeh told the court presided over by Miss Cynthia Hammond that the decomposed body of Abaka was found sometime in March this year, under a mango tree with some parts of the body missing. He said a docket on the case had been sent to the Attorney General’s Department for advice.
