The Ghana Union, North East of England will be celebrating 50 years of Ghana’s Independence in Newcastle upon Tyne.

The Celebration Party is organised for:

Date: Saturday 17 March 2007

Time: 7 p.m. to 12.00 Mid-night.

Venue: St Vincent de Paul Society, Blackfriars Care Centre, New Bridge Street, Newcastle upon Tyne

Entrance Fee: £10.00 for Adults & £5.00 for 16 and under. (This includes Ghanaian food served on the night).

Proceeds from this celebration party would go to Ghana Union North East (UK) and Newcastle upon Tyne NHS Trust, which supports links with Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi, Ghana.

There will be Ghanaian food, dancing and cultural displays.
