University Hall of KNUST donates to Orphanage

Kumasi, Nov. 20 GNA 96 The University Hall of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), on Saturday donated food items valued at about 12 million cedis to the Kumasi Children’s home in Kumasi.

The items included four cartons of ideal milk, 150 loaves of bread, four bags of rice and 300 packs of toilet roll. Making the presentation, Mr Elvis Yaw Boamah, President of the University Hall, also known as 93Katanga=94, said the donation formed part of activities marking the Hall’s annual Week celebration dubbed: =93Kat Fiesta=94, which aims among others, to foster a cordial inter-hall relationship.

He expressed the hope that the items would be used to support the upkeep of the orphans.

Ms Victoria Asugnya, Supervisor of the orphanage, who received the items promised that the items would be put to good use.
