Accreditation of Golden State University suspended

Accra, May 17, GNA – The National Accreditation Board (NAB) announced on Wednesday that it has suspended the accreditation granted to the Golden State University College at Akim Oda in the Eastern Region.

A statement signed by Mr Kwame Dattey, Executive Secretary of NAB, said the Board’s decision was as a result of the unilateral variation of the conditions of accreditation and the appalling conditions under which the Institution operated.

Students of the University College, who had been disadvantaged by the suspension, may contact the NAB for assistance, the statement said.
