Takoradi, April 14, GNA – Apostle Emmanuel Fenyi, Takoradi Head Pastor of the New Apostolic Church, on Friday called on Christians to make forgiveness part and parcel of their daily lives. He made the call at a Good Friday service in Takoradi. Apostle Fenyi said forgiveness was an important aspect of the Ministry of Christ and he even prayed for the forgiveness of his prosecutors on the cross.
He said God sent Christ into the world to die for the sins of humanity so the prayer for forgiveness of sin covered all men. Apostle Fenyi advised Christians to follow the example of Christ and put up with suffering and bickering. He said Christians should not relent in doing good deeds and to refrain from cursing, during period of hardships and suffering. Apostle Fenyi said Christ died for humanity but only few people believed in him. He said in this regard, those who followed and put their faith in him would be saved. 14 April 06
