Pastor cautions Government about ROPAB

Accra, Feb.24, GNA- Apostle Schambach Amaniampong, Head of the Christian Redemption Centre, has cautioned the Government to hasten slowly with the process of passing the Representation of the People Amendment Bill (ROPAB) into law.

He said the process was likely to undermine national stability and integration and serve the interest of the devil who is desirous to reverse the gains the country had made in the democratic dispensation. Apostle Amaniampong who was speaking to the Ghana News Agency in an interview said the threat of sustainable street demonstrations in protest against ROPAB was undermining investor confidence in the economy. Government he said should think more about national interest before passing ROPAB into law.
