Presiding member sworn into office

Kuntanase (Ash), Dec 29, GNA – Mr. Albert Marfo, the newly elected Presiding Member (PM) of the Bosomtwe-Atwima-Kwanwoma district assembly has been sworn into office for a two-year term . Mr Agyei Frimpong, the Bekwai circuit court Judge, who is also the Kuntanase magistrate, swore the new PM into office. Speaking at his swearing-in, Mr Marfo pledged to work in close harmony with the assembly to enhance development of the district in particular and the country as a whole. He expressed his appreciation to the assembly members for electing him into office and promised to unite all the members to help raise revenue mobilization, which, he noted was on the low side.
