DCE presents TV to school to enhance distance learning

Breman Asikuma (C/R), Nov. 5, GNA – The District Chief Executive for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa, Mr Adjei Domson on Friday presented a 29-inch television set to the Breman Asikuma Ahmadiyya Basic School to enhance its distance education programme. He also presented 10 bags of rice and 10 bags of sugar on behalf of the District Assembly to the Muslims communities in the District to climax their Eid-Ul-Fitr festival.

Addressing over 500 Muslims at Breman Asikuma to mark their month long fasting, the DCE advised parents to take advantage of the capitation grant to enrol their children in school. He also urged them to register with the National Health Insurance Scheme to enable them to enjoy free health delivery when they attend the hospital. Nuhu Bin Mabdi, Breman Asikuma Head of the Ahmadiyya Mission, called for tolerance and discipline among the youth, especially Muslims. Prayers were said for God’s guidance for the President, his Vice and Ministers of State and for a prosperous nation.
