Battor citizens in Toronto donate health equipment

Accra, Sept. 22, GNA – Battor citizens Association in Toronto, Canada, have donated medical equipment valued at 120 million cedis and 50 million cedis cash, towards the improvement of health delivery services at home.

Alhaji Ahmed Bandoh, Chief Executive Officer of Bahmed Travel and Tours, who made this known to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Accra, said the presentation of the cash and equipment would be made soon. He made available to the GNA a message from the Chairman of the Association in Toronto, Nicholas Adetie, which called on Battors to forge a united front through the health benefits they would receive from the donation.

He said future contributions towards the general welfare of the people would depend on the judicious use of the equipment and cash.
