NDC constituency chairman commends Assembly for endorsing DCE

Nkoranza (B/A) July 5, GNA – Mr. Owusu Baffoe, Chairman of Nkoranza South Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has commended members of the District Assembly for endorsing the nomination of Mr. James Kwabena Appiah-Awuah as Nkoranza District Chief Executive.

He told Ghana News Agency at Nkoranza that the conduct of the Assembly Members showed that they were committed to unity and cooperation among themselves, irrespective of party affiliations. The NDC Chairman urged them to maintain such spirit and attitude and share ideas in order to advance the development of the communities and the people.

Mr. Baffoe asked them to continue to support and guide the Chief Executive so he would perform satisfactorily to meet the people’s expectations.

He advised Mr. Appiah-Awuah “never to draw lines between the Assembly Members but to respect the views of all” to win their confidence and trust.

The NDC Chairman gave the assurance that NDC members would not do anything to disturb and undermine the work of the DCE and would support him to achieve success.

“Assembly Members, unit committees and traditional rulers should come together and coordinate ideas that would enable them to initiate development programmes to move the district forward”, Mr. Baffoe added. He wished the Chief Executive God’s blessings, guidance and patience so all manner of people who would come to him as a good and accommodating leader.
