Non-formal Education ends workshop in Sunyani

Sunyani (B/A), June 15, GNA – A six-day workshop organised for 69 facilitators of the Non-Formal Education has ended in Sunyani with a call for adequate training to enable them discharge their duties in the districts.

Mr Amponsah Kusi Kakabo, Tano District Coordinator of the Non-Formal Education, told the GNA that the facilitators were drawn from Tano, Asutifi, Asunafo districts and the Sunyani Municipality in Brong Ahafo.

He said two resource persons, Mr Dominic Akugri, Bawku District Director of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) and Mr Thompson Akugri, a Collaborator at the Non-Formal Education office at Bawku, took the facilitators through life, occupation, and vocational skills as well as health habits and civic awareness.
