Mr Osafo-Maafo cautionrd the candidates to be aware of fake BECE questions already in circulation and concentrate on their studies. He asked parents, guardians, teachers, invigilators and supervisors to co-operate in order to realize the objective of a leakage-free and successful examination.

In a similar message to the candidates, Mr Michael Kenneth Nsowah, Acting Director-General of Ghana Education Service (GES) said the examination was to bring out all that you have learnt throughout your basic education.”

He advised the candidates “not to rush to answer questions, but rather to read through the questions very well before answering them.” Mr Nsowah also cautioned the pupils to refrain from engaging in examinations malpractices since such act would destroy their future.
