Driver remanded for offensive conduct

Mankranso (Ash), April 14, GNA – The Mankranso magistrate court has remanded a 24-year-old driver on charges of offensive conduct. Asomah Mohammed pleaded guilty for sprinkling some black-powdered substance around the house of Nana Ama Owusua, Akyeamehemaa of the Tepa Traditional Area, the complainant, with whom his family has a long-standing litigation.

He will re-appear on April 22.

Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector Prosper Yao Aheto told the court that on April 11 a relative of the complainant saw Mohammed sprinkling the black powder around the house. He said the case was reported to the police who arrested Mohammed.
