OMAMA, Royal Blood, To Take Europe By Storm

Europe is the best market for African movies. The Ghana Film Industry has become concerned about many Nigerian movies invading their shores. They have decided not sit and watch their craft become a waste. Enters ” Omama; Royal Blood ” produced by Nana King. The movie has been praised for a great story fused with 21st century American lifestyle. Omama is a movie worth watching as many people in the Diaspora can relate to it.

During the premiere recently in Chicago, IL; Writer, Actor, Producer and Director Nana King, made a remark about how Africa faces a ” tsunami -like” catastrophe on a daily basis as a result of the Aids epidemic. Part of the proceeds will go towards Aids research.

Many people in North America who have seen the movie attest that it is a great movie and it is totally different from the kind of Ghana movies they have seen of late. Ghanaian movies have never been the same and it would give many of the Nigerian movies we have seen, a run for their money. Omama is not the kind of movie only catered for Ghanaians, one of the leading actresses besides the impressive and incomparable Ellen Anim Mensah is Lin Shukla, an American actress. The movie was entirely shot in Chicago in the borough of Bolingbrook. All races can relate to the movie.

The pride of Asanteman, movie superstar Kwame Owusu Ansah, also a radio personality put his craft to a higher limit. He shows sex appeal, class and great acting. Kwame is a world class actor and that is why he was selected as part of the cast of a BBC show, Holby City. Kwame and Ellen will surely get to Hollywood; making Ghanaians proud.

Omama, Royal Blood is about to take Europe by storm, so our European brothers and sisters should be ready to see this great movie. The first European premiere is scheduled in London on May 26th.
