Saltpond road rehabilitation to be completed soon

Saltpond April 6, GNA – The first phase of the two-billion-cedi rehabilitation and upgrading of the 2.5-kilometre Saltpond town roads would be completed within three months ahead of schedule.

Mr Frempong Kumah, Managing Director of the company executing the project in an interview told the GNA that said about 50 per cent of the project, made up of drainage system and gravelling has been completed and said tarring would be done in May, 2005.

He commended staff of the Mftantseman District Assembly administration, particularly Mr Robert Quainoo-Arthur, the District Chief Executive and the people of the town for their cooperation. He also expressed gratitude to officials of the Public Works Department, the supervising agency for their advice and cooperation.
