Board of governors pay a courtesy call on a chief

Gomoa Panfokrom (C/R), March 21, GNA – The Board of Governors, Management and representatives of Panfokrom Women’s Training Institute at the weekend paid a courtesy call on the new chief of the town Nana Panfo X.

They congratulated him on his crowning and promised to work closely with him as they did with his late predecessor to ensure continued and successful running of the Institute.

Addressing the delegation, Nana Panfo appealed to the government to restrain the activities of cattle dealers operating in the area to protect the Ayensu stream, which serves as a source of drinking water for the people of Panfokrom, including students of the Institute. At an earlier meeting, the Board members requested asked the government to provide funds to facilitate implementation of development project in the school.

The Board also stressed the need for the government to expedite action on the tarring of the road linking Gomoa Potsin junction with Panfokrom and Awombrew.
