WAEC releases October-November SSSCE results

Accra, Feb. 28, GNA – The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) on Monday announced the release of the October/November Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination results for private candidates.

A statement signed by Mrs Agnes Teye-Cudjoe, Senior Public Affairs Officer, said individual statement of results had been mailed to addresses provided by candidates, but they could also access their results online at the Council’s website. The statement said out of 126,707 candidates, who registered for the examinations, 149 had their entire results cancelled and had been barred for two years for impersonation.

It said 367 candidates had their subject results cancelled for being involved in other examination irregularities such as bringing foreign materials into the examination hall, collusion and leakage of question papers. The statement said the entire results of eight candidates had been withheld while investigations were being carried out into irregularities committed by them.
