New Edubiase (Ash), Dec 30, GNA -The Adansi South District Assembly has congratulated President J.A. Kufuor on his re-election for a second four-year term.
A message sent to the President and signed by the District Chief Executive, Mr Dominic Yeboah, said “We take this joy in your re-election which is a crystal demonstration of the people’s satisfaction of your unique leadership during the past four years”.
The message said the assembly was particularly enthused about the President’s kind of leadership, which did not discriminate in terms of national projects.
“Your commitment to fair sharing of the national cake irrespective of whether the area voted for you or not is indeed a shining example of political maturity that you hold.”
The message said “The Adansi South is greatly happy about your re-election for even though the majority in the district voted against you in the previous and recent elections, your government implemented a number of development projects in our district during the past four years”.
“We are confident that the next four years will witness more development projects not only in our district but the country in general under your leadership”, it added.
