Assembly builds over 500-million-cedi lorry-park at Mpraeso

Mpraeso, Oct. 14, GNA – The Kwahu South District Assembly is constructing a 570-million-cedi lorry park and the rehabilitation of streets at the total cost of 90 million cedis at Mpraeso. A 160-million-cedi water closet (WC) place of convenience is also being constructed at Abetifi by the Assembly to enhance environmental sanitation in the town.

The District Chief Executive, Mr Raymond Osafo Djan cut the sod for the commencement of the two projects at Mpraeso and Abetifi respectively on Tuesday, and said the projects were being financed from the Assembly’s share of the Common Fund.

He gave the contractors three months to complete the projects and advised the people in the two communities to co-operate with the contractors to ensure their early completion.
