Gadri joins race for NDC Greater Accra deputy communications post

Vericaps Seyram Gadri has formally entered the contest to become Deputy Regional Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Greater Accra.

Mr Gadri, who is currently Deputy Communications Officer for the NDC’s Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, submitted his nomination forms on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at about 11:45 a.m.

His filing confirms his candidacy for the deputy regional communications position as the party considers its contenders in the region.

Mr Gadri is also a member of the NDC’s National Communications Bureau, where he has held various responsibilities. His political involvement began at the University of Ghana, where he served as President of Jubilee Hall before becoming Deputy Communications Officer of the Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN).

He later served as a Branch Chairman in the Legon Electoral Area. From there, he moved to the Greater Accra Regional Communications team and subsequently joined the National Communications Bureau.

Explaining his decision to seek the position, Mr Gadri said he wanted to accept greater responsibility while building on the work of those who previously held the role.

His stated priorities include strengthening the party’s communication, organisational and mobilisation efforts across the Greater Accra Region.

His campaign is based on the message: “Communicating Better, Organizing Stronger, and Mobilizing Smarter to Win Bigger.”

He is using “Tested. Focused. Ready to Serve.” as his campaign slogan.
