NDC files nomination for Atwima-Nwabiagya parliamentary seat

Nkawie (Ash), Sept 09, GNA – Nana Osei-Manu, a 60-year-old retired educationist, has filed his nomination on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress to contest the Atwima-Nwabiagya parliamentary seat. So far, he is the only candidate who has filed his nomination to contest the seat.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency, Nana Osei-Manu said he entered the parliamentary race to do clean politics that would unite the Atwima people and also ensure its rapid development.

“I will effectively articulate the ideas and concerns of the people in the constituency in parliament if I win the seat and also pay attention to their concerns and address them in the communities”, he said.

Nana Osei-Manu said he will focus his campaign message on quality education, health delivery, employment and good sanitation and also be guided by truth and honesty.

He advised his colleagues and other politicians not to resort to character assassination, insults and castigation of innocent persons to score political points.
