‘Stop normalising cheating, it’s wrong’ – Vicky Zugah fires back at Akuapem Poloo

Actress Vicky Zugah has strongly disagreed with fellow entertainer Akuapem Poloo over her recent comments suggesting that men will always cheat and women should accept it.

In a social media post, Zugah condemned the normalisation of infidelity, stressing that cheating is a sign of weakness and disrespect, not a natural part of relationships.

“Stop normalising cheating, it’s wrong. This is why women have always started doing it,” she wrote. “Cheating means you lack self-control and respect for yourself, your partner, and the union.”

Zugah further defended faithful men, saying they should not be made to feel foolish for staying loyal to their partners. She urged people who are unable to commit to one partner to choose polygamy instead of being unfaithful.

“If you can’t be with one woman, then marry multiple women instead of sleeping around with random people,” she added.

The actress also cautioned against the health risks associated with infidelity, reminding the public that sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are real and people should stay safe.

Her response comes after Akuapem Poloo’s comments on Aluta FM sparked widespread debate on social media, with many Ghanaians divided over her assertion that men will inevitably cheat but should do so secretly if they truly love their wives.
