Bobrisky Torn Between Marriage and Luxury: “I Want to Settle Down, But I’m Spoilt”

Popular Nigerian social media influencer Bobrisky has opened up about her desire to settle down, revealing a personal conflict between choosing love and maintaining her high-end lifestyle.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, the 33-year-old media personality—born Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju—expressed a longing to embrace marriage as she approaches her 34th birthday in August.

“I’m 34yrs in August. I honestly want to settle down. Nothing beat a pretty girl in her husband house,” she wrote.

However, Bobrisky admitted that her potential suitor may not meet the financial standards she has become accustomed to. The man, who has reportedly pursued her for seven years and is now ready for marriage, lacks the kind of wealth she currently enjoys through her multiple “sugar daddies.”

“My problem is the man isn’t too comfortable and me I don spoil . I can’t manage. But he look so good asf,” she confessed. “I feel like I’m gonna cheat cos my beauty need maintenance.”

The internet celebrity, known for her flamboyant lifestyle and bold personality, also revealed that getting married would mean cutting off her lucrative allowances, which she claims amount to no less than $20,000 monthly.

“There’s dis young cute guy… he’s not too comfortable. He look so good asf. On the other hand, my sugar daddies said if I’m married my allowance will stop. At least I get nothing less than $20k monthly from few of them. I’m confused,” she added.

The post has since sparked a wave of reactions across social media, with many offering unsolicited advice, while others questioned the cost of choosing love over luxury.

Bobrisky’s dilemma reflects a growing cultural conversation around love, wealth, and identity in modern relationships—one that continues to divide opinion across the continent.
