“I’m Finally Here And Can’t Wait To Start” – Mohammed Kudus After Tottenham Move

Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus has spoken of his joy and ambition after completing his high-profile move to Tottenham Hotspur, describing the transfer as the realisation of a lifelong dream.

In his first words as a Spurs player, Kudus said he was eager to embrace the challenge and proud to join a club with such a rich legacy.

“I’ve always wanted to play at the highest level, how big the club is, the history, the Champions League as well,” Kudus said. “It’s a big moment. I’m finally here and I can’t wait to start!”

The 23-year-old joins from West Ham United in a deal worth £55 million, agreeing a six-year contract with the North London club. He will wear the number 20 shirt, as Spurs prepare for a new era.

Kudus’ arrival is seen as a statement signing, not just for Tottenham, but for Ghanaian football. A technically gifted player known for his flair, vision, and attacking drive, he made a strong impact in his debut Premier League season with West Ham, quickly becoming one of the league’s standout midfielders.

His desire to play at the highest level, particularly in the UEFA Champions League was a major factor in the move. Spurs, fresh from securing European qualification, are betting on Kudus to bring creativity and dynamism to their midfield.

Kudus is expected to join his new teammates in pre-season training in the coming days, pending final clearance on his work permit. His debut in Spurs colours could come as early as this month during their summer friendlies.

For Kudus, though, the message is clear, the dream has just begun.
