Slovan Bratislava have announced the signing of Ghanaian forward Kelvin Ofori on a three-year deal, following his impressive campaign with rivals Spartak Trnava.
The 23-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough season in the Slovak top flight, netting 11 goals and becoming a standout performer for Trnava. His efforts did not go unnoticed, with reigning champions Slovan moving swiftly to secure his services ahead of the new season.
“I’m excited for the next chapter,” Ofori told club media. “Slovan is a club with great ambition and history, and I’m ready to give everything to help us win more trophies.”
Ofori is a product of the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, where he developed alongside fellow graduate and West Ham United star Mohammed Kudus. Known for his pace, technical ability, and eye for goal, he is expected to add firepower to a Slovan side aiming to make waves in Europe next season.
The move adds an extra layer of intrigue to the fierce domestic rivalry between Slovan and Spartak, with Ofori’s switch set to stir emotions among fans of both clubs.
Slovan Bratislava begin their title defence next month, with Ofori likely to play a key role from the outset.
