Knowledge-based approach critical for development – Bawumia

Nations seeking to rapidly advance rely on a knowledge-based rather than resource-based approach to develop, and Ghana cannot afford to do any differently, Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has said.

In this regard, he said: “The Nana Akufo-Addo government will continue to invest national resources in the development of Ghanaians through policies and programmes such as Free SHS, nurse and teacher training allowances, national ID cards and a National Digital Property Addressing system”.

These and more formed part of his address at the 141st Anniversary Speech and Prize Giving Day of Mfantsipim School, Cape Coast, on Saturday, 11 November where he was Guest of Honour.
