KKD deletes post supporting his gay son hours after the post went viral

After several news outlets reported that Kwasi Kyei Darkwah has thrown his weight behind his son who came out of his shell to say he is gay, the Broadcaster has deleted the post from his Facebook page.

Darkwah Kyei Darkwah, son of the popular KKD in an interview which was republished on several news platforms in Ghana yesterday admitted to been gay and indicated that he has been gay all his life but had to hide it to please his parents and family.

His father, KKD in a post on Facebook congratulated his son for the bravery and indicated that regardless of his son’s sexuality, he loves him and will not disown him for his choices.

But few hours after the post went viral, our checks on the Facebook page of the fashion icon Kwasi Kyei Darkwah, the post supporting his son’s stance has been deleted.

mynewsgh.com cannot readily tell whether KKD has regretted the post or is overwhelmed by the comments and attacks from Ghanaian social media users.
