Seidu Adamu retains position as NDC candidate

Bibiani, July 26, GNA – Mr Seidu Adamu, Member of Parliament (MP) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai in the Western Region was at the weekend elected unopposed as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Election 2004.

He was the only candidate who filed his nomination. Addressing the delegates, Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, National Organiser of the NDC, urged them not to be deceived by New Patriotic Party (NPP) propaganda.

He said the NDC needed the organizational skills of cadres to ensure total victory at the polls.

Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, MP for Wenchi West, Brong Ahafo Region, pointed out that there would be no peace without justice and called on the Government to ensure that justice prevailed in the country. Mr Adamu described his re-election as victory for the people and pledged his commitment to the development of the area.
