Adukrom Catholic Church gets hall

Kumasi, July 3, GNA – A 400 million-cedis hall with a seating capacity of 1,000 for the Adukrom Catholic Church has been inaugurated at the weekend.

The project was funded by the Ghana Work Group, a non-governmental organisation and Candea College in Holland. Nana Adu Gyamfi, chief of Adukrom, who performed the inaugural ceremony, praise the financiers of the project for their contribution towards the development of the town. Reverend Joop Valentine, Adukrom Catholic Parish Priest, said a number of projects had been executed through the initiative of philanthropists.

They include a school canteen, library, computer laboratory and furnishing of Church’s basic school.

He announced land had been acquired by the Church for the building of a Senior Secondary School.
