I’m used to gun attacks under NPP government – Asiedu Nketiah

The General Secretary of National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has said, gun men started attacking him way back under former President Kufuor’s regime indicating that the recent one is not strange to him.

According to him, gun men attacking him recently under same New Patriotic Party (NPP) Akufo-Addo led administration is normal and expected.

“During President’s Kufuor’s time, I was attacked more than five times at various radio stations for expressing my opinion and my vehicle has been hit from both sides in an orchestrated incident”, Mr. John Asiedu Nketiah alleged.

This is not the first time, I have gone through a lot worse than this and I survived. I have no doubt at all I survive this one”, he added.

“But that will not stop me from expressing my opinion”, the NDC chief scribe spoke on Top Story on Accra-based Joy FM.

He further stated he is confident police in their investigations will do a credible job to arrest assailants who attempted to attack him recently.

“I know Ghana Police are very professional. …there have been occasions where a dead body which had been buried under concrete was able to be identified at a location and exhumed after investigations”, he pointed out reposing confidence in the security agencies.

“This case is very easy to investigate because we have pictorial evidence of a vehicle that was involved in the attack. …and we have provided that to police to assist investigations” he revealed.
