BNI aggressively pursues two teachers who bolt with GHc10000 cash

Two teachers who have erroneously received GHc10000 are being pursued by the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI).

This incident is reported to have occurred in 2015, and formed part of the Auditor-General’s report for that year.

The Ghana Police Service has joined in the search. Officials of the Ghana Education Service (GES) are also doing all they can to help apprehend the suspects.

The amount is reported to have reflected as salaries for the two, Princess Simons and George Erzual, though there is no record of work done in respect of that amount.
