I went on a hunger strike after NDC’s historic defeat in 2016 – Abeiku Santana

Radio and Television personality, Abeiku Santana has disclosed that after the December 7,2016 polls he lost his appetite for three days because the defeat of the National Democratic Congress was heartbreaking.

According to the Tourism Ambassador and a known NDC member, the defeat got to him so much so that he ‘refused to eat three days straight’.

He indicated that although President Mahama then was commissioning projects and making Ghanaians understand the need to maintain him, Ghanaians were yearning for change and nothing could have stopped them for voting Mahama and the NDC out.

“Ghanaians had made up their mind to vote Mahama and the NDC out of office. Although he was commissioning a number of projects, Ghanaians wanted change and that was why the NDC lost the elections.’’ he said during an appearance on Rainbow Radio.
