Donors block $750m to Ghana because of corruption – Kusi Boafo

An amount of Seven Hundred and Fifty Million US dollars ($75 Million) in grants/loans were truncated to Ghana’s by international donors due to massive corruption under the erstwhile National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.

“Germany, Sweden, Finland and Norway stopped granting loans to Ghana because of corruption within government then”, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Public Sector Reforms, Rev. Thomas Kusi-Boafo alleged.

“Because of corruption in that administration, they looked on unconcerned to our economic plight which led us to join the International Monetary Fund (IMF)” the New Patriotic Party (NPP) sympathizer stated on Kumasi-based Otec FM.

According to the newly appointed and the incoming CEO of the Public Sector Reforms, the previous NDC administration unlike current NPP government lacks integrity and honesty compelling the international donors to cut down those aides to the country.

The NPP government is now is getting more grants because of Nana Addo is incorruptible. …the President’s name is highly positive in securing deals. Nana Akufo-Addo, the anti crusader tag has been helpful to him. …he will continue to get more support from other countries”, the Economic Lecturer with the Kumasi Technical University explained.

The ardent critic of the NDC administration promised to bring transformational chances into his new position as CEO the Public Sector Reforms.
