JAMB deploys decoy website to nab cheats as 211,000 sit for 2025 UTME mock

No fewer than 211,000 candidates across Nigeria sat for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Mock on Thursday, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has confirmed.

The mock exam, held in various accredited Computer-Based Test, CBT, centres nationwide, served as a preparatory exercise ahead of the main UTME scheduled to commence on April 25, 2025.

Speaking while monitoring the exercise at a CBT centre in Bwari, Abuja, JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, said the mock examination was successful and results would be released on Friday, April 11.
