Palaver Fined ?400 Million

The palaver newspaper, published by Revalap Publishers and Suppliers were on Wednesday ordered to pay C400 million in damages to George Addo-Kufuor a.k.a. George Kufour in a libel suit filed against the newspaper by the President?s brother. It has also been ordered to pay C40 million cost in addition to the fine.

This is the outcome of a case brought against the newspaper by George Addo-Kufuor. The defendants are Jojo Bruce Quansah, Kojo Buabeng, Revelap Publishers and Suppliers Ltd and Ghana Industrial and Commercial Estates Ltd.
