The Holy Spirit Cathedral, Adabraka- Accra will see an explosion of hymns, African choral and classical music on Sunday April 30, 2017 at the Cathedral parish hall at 4pm.
The concert put together by the youth choir of the Holy Spirit Cathedral is dubbed, ‘A night of hymns, African and classical music,’ and is on the theme “Ransomed, healed and restored; the triumph of the lamb”.
Other choirs to perform at the concert are the Cathedral Choir, Cherubim Choir and the Grace Chorale.
Speaking in an interview on the concert in Accra, Choir Mistress of the Holy Spirit Cathedral youth Choir Theodora Yebuah said the concert which is to help raise funds to boost the equipment store of the choir, promises to be what can be described as “an unforgettable experience”.
She said unlike other music concerts, the ‘night of hymns, African and classical music’ will not charge patrons for entrance. She therefore urged music lovers and all others who are looking for an event to relax with, to make a date on Sunday, April 30 for a soul lifting and soothing music therapy.
