NPP on a mission to divide NDC – Owusu Obimpeh

The grand scheme by the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), is to see the National Democratic Congress (NDC) divided and so I will call on party supporters not to allow that to happen, Mr. Yaw Owusu Obimpeh, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the umbrella family has stated.

Speaking in an interview with Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, Mr. Obimpeh said, the blame game, insults, allegations and finger pointing after their defeat, will not augur well for the party.

‘’We lost the 2016 general elections but that should not divide our front, that should not make us attck and blame each other. We have to unite our front. We can only come back to power if we are united. The blame game will not help us. We should be extra careful. The way and manner the NPP is treating us today, is not the best. They are on a mission to divide the party. We cannot accuse people of squandering party funds without any evidence. If you believe someone has done that, you will have to prosecute the person.’’

The cracks within executive members in the region he warned, will negatively affect impact activities of the party.
