One shot dead in Ayensuano land dispute

At least one person has been shot dead, and another critically injured in a land dispute in the Ayensuano district of the Eastern region.

According to local journalist Kwadwo Mintah, the particular parcel of land has been a center of misunderstanding for many years.

Speaking to Starr News Wednesday, the assemblyman for the area, Laryea, said the chaos was sparked after the deceased and some heavily built men stormed the land this morning and started destroying properties of residents.
