Social media goes agog over Veep’s ‘change your style’ pose

His choice as Vice President raised a lot of eyebrows, even within his own party, the National Democratic Congress.

Happenings after his rise to the office have however not done much to get the prying eyes to look away.

Kwesi Amissah Arthur has in the past four years served as Vice President to the country’s first and only one-term president, John Dramani Mahama.

He has, like his predecessors, not dominated the headlines as some predicted, well, except for his inability or should I say, refusal to answer some questions put out by his colleague on ‘the other side’, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

But as he takes a graceful bow from the seat of the second gentleman of the land, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur appears to be creating more buzz on social media than he probably did in the past four years as Vice President.

Some images captured at the Flagstaff House in a recent tour with Vice-President-elect Dr Bawumia appear to have created a stir on social media, with many imitating the pose.

A hashtag #PoseLikeAmissahArthur has also been attached to many of the pictures that are trending on social media.

Recently, Cameroonians took to social media to in a similar move, mock the country’s Sports Minister for his exaggerated greeting of their President, Paul Biya

Here are a few of the pictures circulating on social media.
