TECHNOLOGY – TRANSFER WORKSHOP

A four day workshop on Techonology Transfer Management has opened in Accra. It is being organized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization UNIDO in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology and the Science and Technology Policy Research Institute. The Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr.. John Abu, who opened the workshop, said technology transfer is a critical process for every nation because it affects the National Development Process. He said the government is convinced that fostering local technological activity is and essential part of industrial recovery and restructuring. Dr.. Abu stressed the need to upgrade the country’s technological capabilities to ensure improved quality of local products, to meet international standards. gri
