Accident at Tarkwa Mine claims one life

Mr Emmanuel Blisset, an employee of CONSAR, a civil contracting Company, was killed on Friday in an accident at the Tarkwa Mine site of Goldfields Ghana Limited.

A press release from Gold Fields Accra Office on Sunday said the cause of the accident was being thoroughly investigated by the Office of the Chief Inspector of Mines with the full cooperation of all parties involved.

Mr Blisset left behind a wife and four children.
